WEICON Brushable Zinc Coating PROPERTIES: The coating provides active corrosion and rust protection for metal in hot-dip galvanised colour. Platelet-shaped metal pigments are deposited on the substrate parallel to the surface in several, spatially offset layers. This fulfils the requirements of DIN EN ISO 1461 and protects the surface from moisture penetration for longer. In combination with the simultaneous electrochemical effect, optimum corrosion protection is achieved. APPLICATION: Suitable for the repair and coating of metal parts on e.g. frames, gates, doors, railings, poles, posts, machine parts, etc. PROCESSING: Clean and degrease material surfaces. The coating should be applied at the latest one hour after pre-treatment. Keep temperature differences between the surface and the air as low as possible to avoid condensation. Bring the containers to room temperature and stir up the sediment well. Apply the protective paint evenly with a brush, roller or spray gun. Stir regularly during application to ensure that the active substance remains homogeneous. High application temperatures up to max. +30°C and low humidity favour an even spreading pattern and an optimal surface structure. STORAGE: Keep away from sources of ignition - Do not smoke. Take measures against electrostatic charge. Keep tightly closed in original packaging. Do not store together with flammable substances. Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated place.
