TotalBoat 2:1 Fast Hardener is the fastest speed curing agent available for low-viscosity TotalBoat 2:1 High Performance Epoxy Resin. Its non-blushing formula cures to a clear, glossy finish ideal for clear coating applications and hand layups that showcase wood’s natural beauty and carbon fiber’s head-turning texture. No amine blush means no messy washdowns between coats, and no worrying whether a speck of blush will cause an improper cure. Just great results—every time. Our 2:1 Fast Hardener is great for fairing smaller surfaces, bonding hardware, spot filling, and small laminating projects. It has the shortest pot life and the fastest cure time at room temperature. It’s also best for curing overnight in cooler temperatures. At 77°F, gel time is 10 minutes, tack-free time is 2 hours, and full cure is 2 days. Its low odor and low VOC content are great shop and indoor use, but please ensure your work area has adequate ventilation and use proper personal safety equipment.
