From the Manufacturer Built to take the pressure, the Toro 1-inch In-Line Jar-Top Valve operates in the widest flow and pressure ranges from 0.25 to 30 GPM (gallons per minute) and 10 to 150 PSI (pounds per square inch). The popular threaded bonnet "jar top" system makes servicing fast and easy. The Toro 1-inch In-Line Jar-Top Valve includes Flow Control and External Bleed features. Flow control makes it possible to fine-tune the amount of water pressure going to each individual zone, reducing misting and fogging at the sprinkler and saving water. External bleed is the best mechanism to flush out dirt from the supply and lateral lines during new installations or repairs. Any debris passes through the valve rather than becoming stuck in the valve. The valve includes a high quality 24-volt AC solenoid, with 18-inch lead wires, for automatic operation and easy installation.
