This vacuum desiccator features a 1-inch thick, clear acrylic body with internal dimensions of 7 W x 7 D x 8 H. It can withstand a vacuum level of 29.5 inches of Hg or more (equivalent to 756 mm Hg). The Type 1 desiccator has a removable cover for easy sample insertion and removal, and includes a removable, perforated acrylic shelf. The cover's vacuum gasket ensures an airtight seal, while stainless steel latches provide corrosion resistance. Two top-mounted vacuum valves allow for nitrogen purging before applying a vacuum, and 3/8 ID barbed fittings are included.
