This all-purpose Barbour International Bayou Classic Stainless Steel Stockpot is a versatile and useful addition to your kitchen. You can use it to steam, boil and fry your food. The large stockpot has an indentation that raises the included basket 3" above the bottom for steaming or boiling seafood and vegetables. You can also use the basket to deep fry chicken, fish or hush puppies. You can also cook without the basket to make soups, stews, gumbo, jambalaya and much more. This generous 24-qt stainless steel pot also has a vented lid, which allows steam to escape. The perforated steam/boil basket holds food to boil in water or above the water, and you can use it to lift the food out easily.
