Anatomically profiled for all forms of off-road riding, the Supertech RK-1 Knee Brace has been engineered to provide comfortable knee support while still being lightweight, breathable and protective. This knee brace features a Nucleon Plasma knee protector encased in an innovative hybrid frame construction, consisting of a flexible composite over-injected on a high-performance polymer blend to offer superb frame rigidity while still being flexible at the upper and lower strap areas. This brace provides optimal structural integrity and support while being ultra-lightweight and adaptive, and thus reduces the risk of sustaining injuries to the medial and lateral collateral ligament, the anterior and posterior cruciate ligament, and the lateral and medial meniscus. The replaceable triple segmented knee cups are constructed with a polyurethane outer shell backed with a Nucleon Plasma protector for the optimum blend of impact protection, flexibility and scratch resistance. The self-centering knee cup and the strategically positioned upper and lower patella extensions ensure maximum coverage regardless of the flexion or extension angles. The extremely stable, slim-design four-point hinge system perfectly follows the articulation of the knee while the extension stops, which are available in a range from 0 to 30 degrees, assist in setting the brace to the desired maximum opening angle. The stainless steel bushings in the four-point hinge system has an anti-oxidation treatment.
